Front of 111 Tern Drive, South Bethany Beach, Delaware. This rental beach house is a Private Single Family Canal Front Beach home with a boat dock & deck in the rear. South Bethany Beach is straight out the front door 1 1/4 blocks away. We are the 7th house from the ocean yet on a canal to the bay. There is off street parking for 4 cars. This Beach House is closest you can get to the beach while still having a Dock & Canal in the back yard!
Rear Canal, Dock & Deck as seen from the 2nd floor screened porch. You can bring your boat and park it in the back yard, or crab from the dock. There is canal access to Little Assawoman Bay and Assawoman Bay in Ocean City. The deck has a table & chairs, an umbrella, a few lounge chairs, a gas grill & an outside shower.

This is South Bethany Beach. In 2008 the $30 million expansion of South Bethany Beach was completed. It included adding sand, dunes, dune grass etc; the beach is now bigger than ever... some 300' deep. 111 Tern Drive is about 1 1/4 blocks (7th house) from the beach on the bay side of coastal highway. The beach is quite, private, and generally used by only the homeowners & renters in the area. 4 blocks south is Fenwick Island State Park. 6 Beach chairs are provided.
Canalfront & Waterfront! A picture of the Canal from the dock looking south. One can fish (small sea trout) and crab off the dock. The 23' dock is available for your boat, or, you can easily rent from Action Marine. If you bring your own boat, a boat ramp is located 1/2 mile south of the house in Assawoman Recreation Area of the Fenwick Island State Park. A little further south, Kayak and Sailboat rentals, and instructions, are available at Coastal Kayak.

7th House to the Beach!
The best of both worlds; 1 1/4 blocks from South Bethany Beach and canal front with access to Little Assawoman Bay. The easiest access to the beach is straight out the front door, down S. 7th street, and to the left to the S. 6th Street Beach access. If you go a few blocks north at S. 3rd street, there is handicapped access to the beach. A few blocks south is Fenwick Island State Park; since there are no homes on Fenwick Island State Park, the beach is even wider.

Fenwick Island State Park which is 4 blocks south of 111 Tern Drive. The best access to Fenwick Island State Park is straight out the front door, down S. 7th street and to the right 4 blocks. There are no homes on Fenwick Island State Park, the beach is much wider there.
