Check–in
- The front door has an electric access. Your access code will be provided prior to you arrival. To open the door push the large 'Schlage' button, enter the code and the door will unlock for 5 seconds then automatically relock. To leave the door unlocked turn the inside knob vertical. Please do not lock the upper dead bolt.
- Check-in is anytime after 2 PM on the above arrival date. The access code will not work prior to 2 PM. There will be two sets of keys are on the kitchen counter that open the rear doors. Most guests use the access code during their stay so the keys are not necessary.
- Parking passes are also left on the kitchen counter and are required when parking on the street in South Bethany Beach. Passes are not required for parking in the driveway (4 car capacity) and before May 15 and after September 15.
- A local info book will also be in the house that contains menus and local attractions.
- Most guests walk to the beach which is straight out the front door between the two houses in front of Coastal Highway, down S. 7th street and to the left to the S. 6th Street Beach access. There ia also a handicapped beach access at S. 3rd street.
- Beach chairs, a small umbrella, crab nets, boogie boards etc are in the rear storage container next to the outside shower.
- Crabs & small spotted sea trout “spot” can be caught off the dock. There is a bait & tackle 2 blocks south next to McCabes.
- No pets or smoking inside the home is allowed.
- Occupancy is limited to 10 people.
Check–out
- Check-out time is 10:00 AM on the departure date above. Keys & parking passes must be on the kitchen counter and lock all exterior doors & windows. The property may not be re-entered for any reason. Upon check-out please make sure the following have been completed:
1. Replace bed spreads, pillows, blankets after removing your linens, and return all furnishings to their original positions.
2. Dishes and cookware should be cleaned and put away, or in the dishwasher on the wash cycle.
3. Trash should be collected, bagged and placed in the outdoor container.
4. The refrigerator should be emptied of all food and free of spills.
5. Counters, table tops and appliances should be wiped free of excess spills and smudges.
6. Carpets and floors should be "broom clean" of excess debris, food and sand.
7. Premises must be vacated with windows and doors locked and all keys & parking passes left on the kitchen counter. Cars, bikes & personal property must also be removed by 10 a.m.
8. Beach chairs and umbrellas are retuned the outside storage container.
9. Property inspections will be made after check-out. There will be a charge if the above procedures are not followed.
10. Please report any damage as soon as possible so the proper repairs can be made.
